those looking for the tape experience on a budget, we have all your "Mid-Fi" capabilities at hand, and absolutely love it. these can be fun, simple recordings, or explorations in madness. 

that's right, we even do 2-Track cassette recording. amazing for drum breaks, singer-songwriters, and bands looking for a live "raw" sound. 

we also record straight to CD recorders. no punching in, punching out, no editing, live and on the fly, one and done. move on to the overdubs. 

while this isn't a main focus for the Source, if the right podcast comes along, that works for everyone involved, we have full podcast/production capabilities.

Mitch Anderson currently operates a 1949 Rek-O-Kut, yes it is MONO. this is used to cut the all original music beds for BCR broadcast. the lathe is an instrument itself, and can be utilized that way for music production purposes. 

we are seeking to collaborate with artists, labels, managers, and bands who are also in search of something unknown. there are many ways to make an album, and there are some key steps to follow. full production starts with demos, we get to know and understand the song, from there we produce it. computers are not used in Source E, yet we use a multitude of mediums to capture sound.
